The Master's Remains Perfect and Advances to Semifinals

CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa [BOX SCORE | POOL PLAY SCHEDULE] - Thursday at the 2025 NAIA Men's Volleyball National Championship Pool Play round, the No. 1 The Master's (Calif.) Mustangs swept No. 8 Park (Mo.). The match ended with scores of 25-23, 25-19, and 25-20, reinforcing The Master's perfect season record, now standing at 25-0.

The Master's led the way offensively, as reflected in their impressive hitting percentage of .364 compared to Park's .171. 

Braden Van Groningen led the charge for the Mustangs with 14 kills and a remarkable hitting percentage of .444. Trace Oswald followed Van Groningen with nine kills. Matthew Hamm was instrumental in directing the offense, delivering 37 assists. 

Adrian Figueroa was a standout for the Pirates, securing 15 kills. Mihailo Ivanovic and Nicholas Tenius followed with five kills apiece. 

With the win, The Master's advances to the semifinals for the third consecutive season. Park, however, has been eliminated from tournament play.
