2019 NAIA Men's Outdoor Track and Field Athletes of the Week ? No. 3

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Luke Skinner of Saint Mary (Kan.) was named the NAIA outdoor track athlete of the week and Roan Allen of British Columbia was named the NAIA outdoor field athlete of the week. The duo was chosen out of a pool of conference group winners.

  • Skinner competed in the San Francisco Distance Carnival last week and set new school records in the process.
  • Weekly Stats
    • Finished 11th of 65 in the 3000m steeplechase with a time of 9:02.88
    • Finished third of 131 in the 800m with a time of 1:52.36

 

Field Athlete of the Week
Roan Allen, British Columbia
JR, Ontario, Canada

  • Allen competed in the UBC Open last week.
  • Weekly Stats
    • Finished first of 12 athletes in the javelin with a mark of 68.64m
    • The throw landed a new personal best for Allen
