Marian (Ind.) Wins First NAIA Men's Indoor Championship
GAINESVILLE, Fla [RESULTS] [RECORD BOOK] - Seven NAIA Championship records were broken by the end of the 2025 U.S. Marines NAIA Men's Indoor Track and Field Championship inside the Alachua Sports and Recreation Complex on Saturday.
Mile
Bryn Woodall of Milligan (Tenn.) won the mile with a PR and NAIA record-setting time of 4:01.74. Woodall led for the entirety of the race. This is Woodall’s second individual title. His first title was in the 3,000m in 2023.
Daniel Butler of College of Idaho was the runner-up with a time of 4:06.89 for a new PR.
60m Hurdles
Zach Turner of Doane (Neb.) won his first individual title in the 60m hurdles with a time of 7.70 that matched the previous record set by Rasheem Brown of Milligan (Tenn.) set in 2020. Turner also set a new PR.
Justin Guy of Williams Baptist (Texas) with a time of 7.72 for a new PR.
400m
Wiaan Martin of Life (Ga.) won his first individual title in the 400m race with a time of 46.41 for a new PR.
Tyrece Grant of Texas Wesleyan followed with a time of 46.49 for a new PR.
600m
Payton Mauldin of Dordt (Iowa) defended his title in the 600m run with a time of 1:16.11.
Olivier Lifrange of Marian (Ind.) followed with 1:17.76 for a new PR.
60m
Barnabas Aggerh of William Carey (Miss.) defended his title in the 60m dash with a time of 6.53, which broke the NAIA and facility record. Aggerh was just .01 from matching the PR he set back in January this year.
Mustapha Bokpin of Cumberland (Tenn.) followed with a time of 6.69.
800m
Luis Peralta of Milligan (Tenn.) won his first individual title in the 800m race with a time of 1:49.44.
Michael Long of Ave Maria (Fla.) followed with a time of 1:49.66 for a new PR.
1,000m
Liam Neidig of St. Mary (Kan.) won his first individual title in the 1,00m race with a time of 2:25.63.
Marti Molins of Lindsey Wilson (Ky.) followed with a time of 2:25.76 for a new PR.
3,000m
Youssef Asslouj of Cumberlands (Ky.) defended his title in the 3,000m race with a time of 8:14.95.
Tommy Baker of St. Mary (Kan.) followed with a time of 8:17.66 for a new PR.
200m
The Top 3 finishers completed the 200m dash with a time less than the previous record of 20.80 set by Zaygquan Lincoln of Indiana Tech in 2022.
Daniel Williams of Life (Ga.) won his first individual title in the 200m with a time of 20.48 for a new PR.
Kamron Neal of Oklahoma Panhandle State and Netanel Dorothea of Madonna (Mich.) followed with new PRs of 20.70 and 20.75 respectively.
5,000m
Luca Madeo of Cumberlands (Ky.) won his first individual title in the 5,000m with a time of 14:06.19 for a new PR.
Eli Fullerton of Indiana Wesleyan followed with a time of 14:10.02 for a new PR.
Distance Medley Relay
Marian (Ind.) (Pittman, Givens, Platt, Trevino) won the school’s first distance medley relay with a time of 9:51.44.
Cumberlands (Ky.) (Van Wyk, Carpeggiani, Young, Asslouj) followed with a time of 9:51.45.
1,600m Relay
Marian (Ind.) (Lifrange, Miller, Dube, Meterna) won its first 4x400m relay with a time of 3:09.83.
Doane (Neb.) (Gutierrez, Mulder, Brown, Turner) followed with a time of 3:10.44.
Pole Vault
Hunter Angove of The Master’s (Calif.) won his first pole vault title with a mark of 5.25m.
Joey Rauwerda of St. Francis (Ind.) followed with a mark of 5.20m.
Shot Put
Brayton Stephenson of Central Methodist (Mo.) won his first shot put title with a mark of 17.44m for a new PR.
Cade VanVleet of Montana Tech followed with a mark of 17.14m for a new PR.
Marian (Ind.) won its first team title with a total of 74 points. Cumberlands (Ky.) followed with 64 points.
