Westerlund went 3-0 in singles and helped his Owls to the AMC/Heart/Sooner Unaffiliated Grouping title.

Player of the Week: Nicholas Hofmeister, Ave Maria (Fla.)

 

Hofmeister went undefeated in singles and doubles play on the week. He has won six consecutive singles matches for the Gyrenes. The senior played a key role in Ave Maria's upset of No. 19 Coastal Georgia, winning at the number three singles spot to help Ave Maria claim a 4-3 victory.

    Gurmendi clinched the match for the Grizzlies which helped secure the 138th straight victory for the program. It is currently the record for the longest winning streak in collegiate sports history. Gurmendi currently holds a 14-1 record in singles play and a 15-0 record in doubles.
