2017 NAIA Men's Tennis National Player of the Week - No. 3 (April 5)

KANSAS CITY, Mo.Kevin Konfederak from Georgia Gwinnett has been named the NAIA National Men's Tennis Player of the Week, the national office announced Wednesday. Konfederak was selected based on his performances from March 27 – April 2 and was chosen out of a pool of conference, Association of Independent Institutions and unaffiliated group winners.

Jr., Buenos Aires, Argentina

• Led the No. 1 Grizzlies to an 8-1 win over No. 5 Northwestern Ohio with his two victories over the Racers.
• The top-ranked player in singles and doubles play, Konfederak is now 29-1 on the season and perfect at 18-0 in doubles.
• Konfederak earned a win over No. 18 Theo Baudin of UNOH in singles. In doubles, he earned an 8-2 win over the No. 17 ranked team of Radu Popa and Iustin Baciu
• This is Konfederak’s first National Player of the Week honor.
