2025 NAIA Men's Swimming and Diving National Championship Recap - Day 2
Elkhart, Ind. – Midway through the 2025 NAIA Men’s Swimming & Diving Championships Keiser (Fla.) extended their lead with 241 points, while four national champions were crowned Thursday night at the Elkhart Aquatic Center.
- The Seahawks collected a pair of national titles on the day. Keiser posted a first through fourth place finish in the in the 50 free, led by Noel de Geus, who broke the meet record with a time of 19.47. Fynn Kunze pulled away from the field and clocked a 1:47.85 to win the 200 IM.
- Milligan (Tenn.) sits in second place with 147 points. The quartet of Paxton Smith, Caleb Fry, Josah McKonie, and Stephen Gilbert teamed up to win the 200 free relay with a time of 1:19.82.
- SCAD Savannah (Ga.) posted a runner-up finish in the 200 free relay and the 500 free to sit in third place with 142 points.
- Cumberlands (Ky.) is in fourth place with 131 points, while William Carey (Miss.) tallied 125 points to be fifth. The Crusaders’ Mate Miszlai opened finals by winning the 500 free with a time of 4:23.81.
The NAIA Championship will continue Friday, March 7, with the third day of competition. Prelims are slated to begin at 9 a.m. EST and finals will start at 5 p.m. EST.
