KANSAS CITY, MO. - Akean Shackleford of Lindsey Wilson (Ky.) has been named the NAIA National Men's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week and Pedro Muller Moreira of Union (Ky.) has been named the NAIA National Men's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week, the National office announced Tuesday. The two student-athletes were nominated for their performances during the week of Nov. 4 –10 and were selected out of a pool of conference and Association of Independent Institutions award winners.

• Shackleford scored made the PK in shootout in two MSC tournament games this week
• Scored four goals and two assists
• Totaling ten points.

Defensive Player of the Week

Pedro Muller Moreira, Union (Ky.)

SO, G, Sao Paulo, Brazil

• Totaled nine saves in one game
• Contributed to upset over AAC No. 1 tournament seed Tennessee Wesleyan

• Played 90 minutes allowing one goal
