2025 NAIA Men's Lacrosse Players of the Week - No. 1 (February 25)
KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Breck Putzier of William Penn (Iowa) has been named the NAIA Men's Lacrosse Offensive Player of the Week, while Abraham Agundez of Clarke (Iowa) was selected as the NAIA Men's Lacrosse Defensive Player of the Week to open the 2025 season. Moore was selected based on performances from February 17-23 and was chosen out of a pool of conference/Continental Athletic Conference (Independents)/unafilliated group nominees.
Players of the Week are announced weekly on Tuesdays on naia.org, Instagram, and X/Twitter throughout the regular season.

NAIA Men's Lacrosse Offensive Player of the Week
Breck Putzier, William Penn (Iowa) - SR - Attacker
- Putzier opened the first national player of the week award in a big offensive showing for the Statesmen.
- Over two road games, he tallied nine goals, eight coming in the 24-8 win against Michigan-Dearborn.
- He also added seven total assists last week to open the new season with 16 total points.
NAIA Men's Lacrosse Defensive Player of the Week
Abraham Agundez, Clarke (Iowa) - SR - Midfield
- Opened the new season with a stellar defensive performance against Agustana.
- Agundez picked up 11 total ground balls causing one turnover.
- In the faceoff circle he was nearly perfect, winning 16-of-18.
