NAIA Announces New Host Site for Bowling National Championships
KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) has selected Royal Scot Golf & Bowl in Lansing, Michigan, and the Lansing Sports Commission as the hosts for the 2026 and 2027 NAIA Bowling National Championships.
"Our team is ecstatic to welcome the NAIA Bowling National Championship to Royal Scot Golf & Bowl,” said Lansing Sports Commission Executive Director Meghan Ziehmer. “We are confident the student-athletes and coaches alike will love the facility and are excited to create a student-athlete experience that will be remembered."
With 60 synthetic, USBC and BPAA-certified lanes, Royal Scot Golf & Bowl provides the ideal environment for competitive play.
“We are thrilled to bring the NAIA Bowling National Championship to this top-of-the-line facility,” said NAIA Championships Director Austin Bennett. “Royal Scot Golf & Bowl, alongside the Lansing Sports Commission, are guaranteed to provide student-athletes and spectators with an unparalleled experience.”
The NAIA Bowling National Championship is conducted over three days, starting with Bakers Play to determine seeding for the championship bracket. The championship bracket is double elimination, with the top four teams receiving first-round byes.
In 2024, the NAIA Bowling National Championship was held in Sterling Heights, Michigan, at 5 Star Lanes. SCAD Savannah (Ga.) won both the men’s and women’s championships, securing their spot as the first program to take home both titles on the same day.
