• After going undefeated on the first day of match play, No. 1 Marian was upset by Martin Methodist (Tenn.) in round six in the winner’s bracket.
• Round six in the winner’s bracket was a back and forth battle until the fifth and final set when Martin Methodist (Tenn.) was able to close out the win with a difference of 30 pins.
• Round six in the loser’s bracket saw a comeback win from St. Francis (Ill.).
• Ottawa (Kan.) opened the match with wins in the first two sets. St. Francis (Ill.) however, went on to win the next three.
• St. Francis would maintain its momentum into round seven where they would upset No. 1 Marian (Ind.).

• Martin Methodist (Tenn.) and St. Francis (Ill.) will face off at 2 p.m. central to decide the champion. If St. Francis (Ill.) wins another match will be played to decide the champion.
