KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Wes Stowers of Marian (Ind.) has been named the NAIA National Men's Basketball Division II Player of the Week, the national office announced Tuesday. Stowers was selected over a pool of nominated players based on his play from Feb. 11-17

• Averaged over 30 points per game on the week, leading the Knights to a pair of upset wins. He poured in a career-high 36 points and dished out six assists in the upset win over then-No. 5 Indiana Wesleyan. In that same game, he scored nine points over the final four minutes to close out the game.
• Weekly Stats:
  • 26 points, seven assists, three rebounds, one block in the win over then-No. 6 Mount Vernon Nazarene (Ohio).
  • 36 points, six assists, two rebounds and two steals in the win over then-No. 5 Indiana Wesleyan.
  • Averages: 31.0 points per game, 6.5 assists per game, 2.5 rebounds per game, 1.0 steals per game, 0.5 blocks per game.
