Player of the Week: Alex Gross, Olivet Nazarene (Ill.)

For the second consecutive week and third this season, Alex Gross lit it up and was named the National Player of the Week! The senior recorded a career-high 43 points and added 17 rebounds. Overall, the Indiana native finished with 69 points and 31 rebounds in two contests.

Alex Gross collected a triple double to go with a pair od double doubles last week as the senior continued to shine this season. His 37 point, 17 rebound, 10 block performance was his second triple double of the season. This is his second national player of the week honor of the season and second in the last three weeks.

Tyrese Taylor had two big games with a pair of double doubles in wins for Multnomah (Ore.). In the win over Northwest (Wash.), Taylor netted 32 points and pulled-down 13 boards in addition to providing the game-winner in overtime. The sophomore averaged 27 points and 13.5 rebounds over the course of two games last week.
