KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) announced that the NAIA Football Game of the Week for November 7 will be Southwestern (Kan.) at Bethel (Kan.). The game was selected by fans across the country in an online vote.

A game that could define the Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference this season, the final two undefeated teams will take aim at each other in North Newton, Kan., on Saturday night. Bethel has been in the driver’s seat for much of the season, but Southwestern will have a chance to grab a statement win with a win under the lights on the road. The matchup features two of the eight remaining undefeated teams in the nation.

Southwestern has outscored opponents 187-52 this season and is coming off its most dominant win of the year just two weeks ago in a 59-3 win over St. Mary (Kan.). Quarterback Brad Cagle leads the nation in pass efficiency while Keyshawn Jones has become his top target. The junior is ranked fourth in the nation in in receiving yards per game with just shy of 136 yards per contest. Running back Keyshawn Wyatt has also been a key factor in the offense. The Dallas, Texas, native is ranked second in the nation in rushing yards per game, averaging over 122.

On the other side of this offensive battle is Bethel. The Threshers are averaging an incredible 56.5 points per game in 2020 and are coming off a 38-0 win over Bethany (Kan.) last week.

Bethel is ranked No. 1 in the NAIA in eight statistical categories, six of which are offensive. As perhaps the top rushing offense in the country, the Threshers have recorded 419 yards on the ground per game. The team features seven total backs that average 40 yards per game or more.
