2019 NAIA Football Players of the Week – Week Ten

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Jordan Williams of Central Methodist (Mo.) has been named the NAIA National Football Offensive Player of the Week and David Kacmarynski of Dordt (Iowa) has been named the NAIA National Football Defensive Player of the Week and Brett Zachman of Dordt (Iowa) has been named the NAIA National Football Special Teams Player of the Week, the National office announced Monday. The three student-athletes were nominated for their performances during the week of November 4 – November 10 and were selected out of a pool of conference award winners.

 

Special Teams Player of the Week

Brett Zachman, Dordt (Iowa)         

Fr., P, Leesburg, Fla.

  • Zachman converted four fields goals in the first half to help Defenders to 12-0 lead over Briar Cliff
  • Weekly Stats:
    • Made a 44-yard field goal
    • 5-5 on field goal tries
    • 4-4 point after attempts

 

Defensive Player of the Week

David Kacmarynski, Dordt (Iowa)

Jr., DB, Pella, Iowa

  • Kacmarynski became a career leader in sacks at Dordt this Saturday
  • Weekly Stats:
    • Two sacks
    • Broke up three passes and had one interception return for a touchdown
    • Helped Defenders over 43-7  

Offensive Player of the Week

Jordan Williams, Central Methodist (Mo.)

  • Williams picked up 249 yards of total offense on Saturday
  • Weekly Stats:
    • Four passing touchdowns
    • 19-of-26 connecting throws (73%)
    • Two rushing touchdowns
    • Helped Eagles defeat then-No. 9 Evangel 42-7
