2025 ABCA-Rawlings NAIA Gold Glove Team Revealed

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA), Rawlings, and the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) have named the nine members of the 2025 ABCA-Rawlings NAIA Gold Glove Team, selected by the NAIA Baseball Coaches Association All-America Committee.

Sean Michalak, of St. Francis (Ill.) puts the Fighting Saints back on the team for the first time since 2023, fielding his position from the mound without an error in 2025, making four putouts with 23 assists.

He’s joined in the Gold Glove battery by Charlie Muniz, of Cumberlands (Ky.), who shattered NAIA offensive records in 2025 while also protecting an errorless season behind the plate. Muniz had 30 assists and 349 putouts, cutting down 15 would-be base-stealers in the 2025 season.

At first base, Ryan Muizelaar made one error in 352 chances for Jamestown (N.D.), and at second base, Jake Kuhlman, from Concordia (Mich.), was in on 31 double plays for the Cardinals, posting a .981 fielding percentage.

At third base, Chase Nye had 58 putouts and 84 assists in 144 chances, fielding .986, and at shortstop, Jose Sallorin helped lead LSU Shreveport (La.) to its 59-0 national championship season with a .980 fielding mark, including 142 assists and 59 putouts in 205 chances.

In the outfield, right and center went without an error, as Warner (Fla.) center fielder Luis Cedeno had 87 putouts and seven outfield assists in  94 chances, while Ian Ortiz made the move to right field in 2025 for Science and Arts (Okla.) after playing primarily on the infield in 2024. The move proved successful, as Ortiz was in on one double play, had eight outfield assists, and a perfect fielding percentage with 94 putouts.

2025 Gold Glove left fielder Jalen Martinez, from Webber International (Fla.), fielded .990 going into the 2025 Avista NAIA World Series, ending the year with 97 putouts and 10 outfield assists.
