NAIA aligns with International China and UK Recruiting Partner, FirstPoint USA
KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) has announced a three-year partnership naming FirstPoint USA as its exclusive “Official China and UK Recruiting Partner.” This relationship will open up more opportunities for life-changing sports scholarships in the United States as FirstPoint USA supports NAIA member institutions with international recruitment.
“FirstPoint USA has a stellar reputation for helping international student-athletes successfully navigate the college recruitment process,” said NAIA President and CEO Jim Carr. “We’re excited to have a partner in China and the UK that offers such personalized guidance, helping ensure a positive experience for student-athletes, as well as a great fit for NAIA member institutions.”
With a membership of more than 250 universities and 65,000 student-athletes competing across 21 athletic conferences, the NAIA provides support, regulation and guidance to assist these institutions with their athletic operations.
“We are excited to make our partnership with FirstPoint USA official and now offer our student-athletes and members an official recruiting partner in the UK and China,” said Leah McCormack, NAIA Vice President of Eligibility Services. “FirstPoint USA plays a key role in helping students and institutions navigate the complexities of international recruiting.”
“My experience so far in the United States has been amazing. I couldn’t ask for it to be better. It has been a lot better than I expected as we have made a family out here at Indiana Tech and the challenges keep coming week in week out. I have no regrets about coming out to America, it has been an interesting and amazing first semester, can’t wait for more” – Ryan Steele, Student-Athlete and soccer scholar at Indiana Tech.
“More than 250 universities and the thousands of student-athletes receiving in excess of $600M of scholarship funding benefit from their membership of the NAIA, and the numerous athletic opportunities that come with it,” said Andrew Kean, founder and CEO of FirstPoint USA. “We have a longstanding relationship with many NAIA schools and we are looking forward to developing these and more in the coming years through this new and exciting partnership.”
In addition, the NAIA provides a range of tools and services to its membership in order to support their institutional strategic priorities and maximize the impact athletics has on enrollment, student success and financial viability.
”This relationship allows us to provide the most comprehensive support to international student-athletes seeking to access the life-changing opportunities offered by the NAIA member universities,” Kean mentioned. “Partnering with the NAIA reinforces our position as the world’s leading American university and sport scholarship agency.”
