NAIA Announces United States Marine Corps as Title Sponsor of Track & Field National Championships

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) has signed a partnership with the United States Marine Corps as the Title Sponsor of the 2025 NAIA Indoor and Outdoor Track & Field National Championships.
As the title sponsor, the United States Marine Corps had representatives on site at the indoor track & field competition in February and will have representatives on site at the outdoor track & field national championship from May 21 to 23 in Marion, Indiana. Both championships will feature the United States Marine Corps branding.
“Our national championships serve as a celebration of student-athletes' unwavering dedication and hard work,” said NAIA President & CEO Jim Carr. “We are honored to partner with the United States Marine Corps to recognize our exceptional track & field athletes and their commitment to excellence in their sport, institutions, and communities.”
Founded in 1775, the United States Marine Corps is a branch of the United States Armed Forces and acts as the premier crisis response force. This partnership will provide an opportunity for the United States Marine Corps to connect with coaches and student-athletes, offering valuable information on recruitment, training, and career opportunities.
“The United States Marine Corps is proud to begin our partnership with the NAIA and its community of athletic leaders,” said Lt. Col. Anton Semelroth, national director for marketing and communications at the Marine Corps Recruiting Command. “We are honored to support those who cultivate the fighting spirit within their teams, programs, and institutions. This generation of student-athletes looks to their coaches for honest and informed guidance about their future, and we want to ensure that coaches have the best resources available to present the Marine Corps as a meaningful and impactful opportunity.”
