NAIA Signs Agreement with FirstDown PlayBook

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) announced that it has come to terms with FirstDown PlayBook to become the ‘official playbook of NAIA Football and Women’s Flag Football.’ FirstDown PlayBook includes over 35,000 unique play drawings, features new installations three times every week, and includes detailed coach points for every play.

The three-year agreement will begin immediately through December of 2023. The partnership gives FirstDown PlayBook official naming rights of the NAIA Football Top 25 Poll as well as naming rights to all NAIA Women’s Flag Football awards.

“We are ecstatic to partner with the NAIA and their storied history in college athletics,” said FirstDown PlayBook founder Charlie Coiner. “We are excited to be part of the strong football tradition and the opportunity to be involved in the historic beginning of women's flag football at the collegiate level.”

“Built by coaches for coaches, FirstDown PlayBook’s industry-leading playbook technology will be a great resource for NAIA football programs,” stated Coiner.

FirstDown PlayBook will provide all NAIA inaugural Women’s Flag Football teams with complimentary playbook resources heading into this year’s play and will provide all NAIA Football programs with a complimentary two (2) week trial membership.

“The digital playbook that FirstDown PlayBook provides coaches will be an additional tool to add to their playbooks, allow them to save on time and enhance their player’s learning curve,” said Mike Higgins, NAIA Director of Championships.  “Their product will be very valuable to both NAIA Football and NAIA Women’s Flag Football programs for years to come.”
