2020 NAIA National Convention Cancelled due to COVID-19

Convention

After careful consideration of the widespread health risks posed by COVID-19, the NAIA has made the difficult decision to cancel its 2020 National Convention scheduled for March 28-April 1 in Kansas City, Mo. All registration fees will be fully refunded.

Please know that this decision was not taken lightly. Having the opportunity to interact with our members in person is one of our favorite times of the year. However, the widespread travel bans and state of emergencies being declared have made the logistics of traveling for our members increasingly difficult. Most importantly, the health and safety of our members and staff is our highest priority.

Below are some convention cancellation FAQs:

Will the national convention be rescheduled to take place later this year?

No, the 2020 National Convention will not be rescheduled. The current plan is to hold an abbreviated virtual meeting for the Council of Presidents, a one-hour virtual caucus, and a full virtual business meeting. The logistics and schedule of these meetings is still being determined and more details will be provided to members next week.

Will paid attendee registrations be refunded?
