The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) has announced the 2023-24 Daktronics NAIA Women’s Wrestling Scholar-Athletes with 125 student-athletes recognized. This winter, 28 institutions placed wrestlers on the list.
The Preliminary Brackets for the second annual NAIA Women's Wrestling National Championships have been released by the National Office. Hosted at Harold Newman Arena, the event takes place on March 8th and 9th.
The final edition of the YES! Athletics NAIA Women's Wrestling Ratings for the 2023-24 season had no change in the top five as Menlo (Calif.), Life (Ga.), Grand View (Iowa), Southern Oregon, and Providence (Mont.) all remained at the same rank.
Menlo (Calif.) claimed the top spot in the fourth NAIA Women's Wrestling Coaches' Top 20. Life (Ga.) who was the top ranked program in the country for the previous three rating cycles slid to No. 2.
Life (Ga.) held the No. 1 spot in the second regular season NAIA Women's Wrestling Coaches' Top 20 rating. Grand View (Iowa) and Menlo (Calif.) flipped spots this week for No. 2 and No. 3, respectively. Providence (Mont.) climbed this week, up two spots to No. 4 as Texas Wesleyan joined the top five. Two new teams joined the top 20 this week with Saint Mary (Kan.) in at No. 15 and Wayland Baptist (Texas) in at No. 20.
