KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Kaitlin Castro of Cumberlands (Ky.) has been named the YES! Athletics NAIA Women’s Wrestler of the Week. The winner was selected based on their performances from February 5-11 and were chosen out of a pool of conference/Continental Athletic Conference (Independents)/unaffiliated group nominees. 

Wrestlers of the Week are announced weekly throughout the regular season on Wednesdays on naia.org, Instagram and Twitter.

• Picked up a big victory over the fourth-ranked wrestler in the 123 weight class.
• Her 10-0 tech fall victory was highlighted by a four-point takedown.
• Helped the Patriots earn the 25-20 team win.
