KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Ajayzee Zaballos of Menlo (Calif.) has been named the Yes! Athletics NAIA Women’s Wrestler of the Week. The winner was selected based on their performances from January 22-28 and was chosen out of a pool of conference/Continental Athletic Conference (Independents)/unaffiliated group nominees. 

Wrestlers of the Week are announced weekly throughout the regular season on Wednesdays on naia.org, Instagram and Twitter.

Ajayzee Zaballos, Menlo (Calif.) - JR - 116

• Put together a perfect showing at the Warrior Open, going 5-0.
• Tallied four tech falls, including two against Top 20 wrestlers.
• Claimed the 116 title with her undefeated day.
• In her five matches, she only allowed opponents to score nine points, while she racked up 60 total points.
