KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Sarah Savidge of Life (Ga.) has been named the Yes! Athletics NAIA Women’s Wrestler of the Week. Savidge was selected based on her performances from January 1 - 7 and were chosen out of a pool of conference/Continental Athletic Conference (Independents)/unaffiliated group nominees. 

Wrestlers of the Week are announced weekly throughout the regular season on Wednesdays on naia.org, Instagram, and Twitter.

Sarah Savidge, Life (Ga.) - SO - 130

• Picked up three big victories at the National Duals last week which included two wins by tech fall, and one by pin in 2:11.
• Her three wins were all against wrestlers from top 15 teams including Cumberlands (Ky.), Providence (Mont.), and Menlo (Calif.).
• Helped Life (Ga.) claim the first-place crown as a team for the second time in three years.
