2022-23 Daktronics NAIA Women’s Wrestling Scholar-Athletes Released

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) has announced the 2022-23 Daktronics NAIA Women’s Wrestling Scholar-Athletes with 100 student-athletes recognized. This winter, 27 institutions placed wrestlers onto the list. 

Indiana Tech is the NAIA leader with 10 award winners followed by Cumberlands (Ky.) with nine and Life (Ga.) with eight. Grand View (Iowa) and Iowa Wesleyan have seven each.

In order to be nominated by an institution’s head coach or sports information director, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale, must appear on the eligibility certificate for the sport and have attended one full year at said institution.
