KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Rylee Serpan of Kansas Wesleyan has been named the NAIA Women’s Volleyball Attacker of the Week, Kelcey Hund of Kansas Wesleyan has been named the NAIA Women’s Volleyball Defender of the Week and Naomi Eckert of Life (Ga.) has been named the NAIA Women's Volleyball Setter of the Week. The trio was selected based on their performances from September 11 - 17 and were chosen out of a pool of conference/Continental Athletic Conference (Independents)/unaffiliated group nominees.

Players of the Week are announced weekly throughout the regular season on Tuesdays on naia.org, Instagram and Twitter.

NAIA Women's Volleyball Attacker of the Week 

Rylee Serpan, Kansas Wesleyan - SO - Right Side Hitter

• Posted 59 total kills in 11 sets for an average of 5.36 kills per set on the week. 
• Recorded an attack percentage of .354 after three matches. 
• Set a new career-high of 27 kills vs. Bellevue (Neb.)
• Helped her team to a 3-0 week with wins over Sterling (Kan.), No. 12 Bellevue (Neb.) and William Woods (Mo.).

NAIA Women's Volleyball Defender of the Week

Kelcey Hund, Kansas Wesleyan - SR - Defensive Specialist

• Posted a total of 89 digs in 11 sets for an average of 8.09 digs per set. 
• Set a career-high of 40 digs vs. Bellevue (Neb.). 
• Helped her team to a 3-0 week with wins over Sterling (Kan.), No. 12 Bellevue (Neb.) and William Woods (Mo.).

NAIA Women's Volleyball Setter of the Week 

Naomi Eckert, Life (Ga.) - SR - Setter

• Posted 46 total assists in three sets for an average of 15.33 assists per set. 
• Recorded a double-double vs. Faulkner (Ala.) with 46 assists and 15 digs. 
• Led her team in assists, blocks and digs in the match.
