2024 NAIA Women's Lacrosse Players of the Week - No. 2 (February 27)

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Anna Lobbezoo of Cumberlands (Ky.) has been named the NAIA Women's Lacrosse Offensive Player of the Week, and Emma Rittman of Cumberlands (Ky.) has been named the NAIA Women's Lacrosse Defensive Player of the Week. The duo was selected based on their performances from February 19-25 and were chosen out of a pool of conference/Continental Athletic Conference (Independents)/unafilliated group nominees. 

Players of the Week are announced weekly throughout the regular season on Tuesdays on naia.org, Instagram, and Twitter.

NAIA Women's Lacrosse Offensive Player of the Week

Anna Lobbezoo, Cumberlands (Ky.) - SO - Midfielder

  • Anna played a critical role in the 21-9 victory on the road against fourth-ranked Keiser (Fla.).
  • Tallied five goals and two assists.
  • Posted eight shots, seven of which were on goal for an 87.5 shot-on-goal percentage.

NAIA Women's Lacrosse Defensive Player of the Week

Emma Rittman, Cumberlands (Ky.) - SO - Midfielder

  • Secured defensive player of the week honors for the second straight week.
  • Scooped up 10 draw controls and one groundball.
  • Tallied four goals with 5-of-6 shots on goal.
