2024 NAIA Women's Lacrosse Players of the Week - No. 1 (February 20)

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Bailey Dykes of Warner (Fla.) has been named the NAIA Women's Lacrosse Offensive Player of the Week, and Emma Rittman of Cumberlands (Ky.) has been named the NAIA Women's Lacrosse Defensive Player of the Week. The duo was selected based on their performances from February 12-18 and were chosen out of a pool of conference/Continental Athletic Conference (Independents)/unafilliated group nominees. 

Players of the Week are announced weekly throughout the regular season on Tuesdays on naia.org, Instagram, and Twitter.

NAIA Women's Lacrosse Offensive Player of the Week

Bailey Dykes, Warner (Fla.) - FR - Attacker

  • Big part in helping the Royals secure their first win in program history.
  • Secured five goals and an assist in the season-opener.
  • She followed that by notching 10 of the team's 14 points in game two of the year.

NAIA Women's Lacrosse Defensive Player of the Week

Emma Rittman, Cumberlands (Ky.) - SO - Midfielder

  • Helped the Patriots secure the season-opening win over No. 9 Marian with the game-winning goal.
  • Led the team in draw controls with 13.
  • Secured a pair of ground balls and caused turnovers.
