2024 NAIA Women’s Lacrosse Coaches’ Top 10 - Poll No. 3 (March 20)

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Cumberlands (Ky.) jumped two spots in this week's NAIA Women's Lacrosse Coaches' Top 10 Poll as the only team with a perfect record left in the country. Reinhardt (Ga.) held strong at No. 2 again this week. Lawrence Tech (Mich.) sits at No. 3, and SCAD Savannah (Ga.) held steady at No. 4. Life (Ga.) jumped into the top five this week, up one spot from the last poll. Indiana Tech had the largest leap this week, up three spots to No. 7.
Poll Methodology:
- The NAIA Women's Lacrosse Poll is for publicity purposes only and has no weight or bearing in the selection process for national championship field consideration
- The poll was voted upon by a panel of head coaches representing each of the conferences and Continental Athletic Conference (Independents)
- The Top 10 is determined by a points system based on how each voter ranks the best teams. A team receives 30 points for each first-place vote, 29 for second place and so on through the list
- The highest and lowest ranking for each team (a non-rating is considered a low rating) is removed
- Teams that receive only one point in the ballot are not considered “receiving votes”
- For the first preseason poll, there is no column referencing a previous ranking, as polls are new and different from the ratings system
- Frequency of polls occur bi-weekly
