Week 8 (May 3, 2023)

Golfer of the Week: Maddi Kamas, Oklahoma City

      Maddi Kamas of Oklahoma City University raked in the league individual crown by one shot in the Sooner Athletic Conference Championships on April 24-25 at Waterchase Golf Club in Fort Worth, Texas, with a 69-72-74?215. Kamas finished as the lone golfer under par for the tournament while sinking 12 birdies for her third win of the season. Kamas collected her second consecutive SAC individual title and sixth career individual victory. Kamas, the SAC player of the year, tops the NAIA in scoring average in 2022-23.

Golfer of the Week: Sofia Castelan, Morningside (Iowa)

     Sofia Castelan was the medalist at this week's Defender Invite, shooting a two-round total of 143. Castelan was three-under-par in her second round of the two-round event.

Week 6 (April 19, 2023)

Golfer of the Week: Paige Wood, Oklahoma City

      Paige Wood collected her third victory of 2022-23 and fourth at Oklahoma City University on Monday and Tuesday in Oklahoma City. Wood secured the victory by one stroke with a 15-foot uphill birdie putt on the par-4, 364-yard 17th hole at Lincoln Park Golf Course. Wood posted a 73-67?140 with five birdies in the final round and seven in the tournament at the par-71, 5,833-yard course. Wood and tournament runner-up Maddi Kamas from OCU finished as the only golfers under par in the tournament. The Stars won the tournament by 19 shots.

Week 5 (April 12, 2023)

Golfer of the Week: Sydney Hermann, Dalton State (Ga.)

    Sydney made a statement in the Roadrunner Invitational taking individual medalist honors for her 2nd career tournament victory. She tied the tournament-low 18-hole score and set the program-low 18-hole, and 54-hole scores while tieing the program-low 36-hole score. Her 211 (-5) score was good enough for a 6-stroke victory as the Lady Roadrunners won by 33 strokes in their home event. Sydney was top-3 in par 3, par 4, and par 5 scoring, made a tournament-high 15 birdies and made one of only three eagles on the course for the week.

Week 4 (April 5, 2023)

Golfer of the Week: Ashleigh Mead, USC Beaufort (S.C.)

    Mead won her second career tournament at the DII outing. First tournament victory this year. The field featured 14 of the top 100 individuals and nine of the top 50 DII teams. She totaled eight birdies and 39 pars at the three-round tournament

Week 3 (March 29, 2023)

Golfer of the Week: Alexandra Scmidt, Lewis-Clark (Idaho)

    Schmidt had a busy week with two tournaments and placed in the top two in both. The senior won the LCSC Warrior Spring Invite for the second victory of her career. She finished 1-under in Lewiston with rounds of 71 and 22 for a 143 two-round total. She participated in the UPS Spring Invitational as an individual and finished a stroke behind the leader with a 154 two-round total.

Week 2 (March 22, 2023)

Golfer of the Week: Maddi Kamas, Oklahoma City

  Maddi Kamas from Oklahoma City University delivered an 11th-place finish in the Bobby Nichols Intercollegiate on March 12-14 in Sevierville, Tenn. Kamas posted a 71-80-76?227 on the par-71, 5,803-yard Highlands Course at the Sevierville Golf Club. Kamas buried four birdies and an eagle in the tournament with two birdies Tuesday on the par-5, 432-yard third hole and the par-5, 410-yard 14th hole. Oklahoma City, ranked second in NAIA women's golf, came in seventh place to finish ahead of six NCAA Division I squads.

Week 1 (March 15, 2023)

Golfer of the Week: Hoi Ki Lau, Keiser (Fla.)

Freshman Hoi Ki Lau claimed the first tournament title of her Keiser career, shooting a one-under, 215, at the 2023 Keiser Kup. She helped the Seahawks win their second straight tournament which included No. 4 Southeastern, No. 19 Texas Wesleyan, and No. 23 St. Thomas. The first-year Seahawks led the three-day tournament wire-to-wire and was the only golfer to shoot under-par for the event. She shot two-under on Par 3s and was one-under on Par 5s. Recording a team-best 34 par putts, Lau notched a team-best nine birdies and registered one of the team's two eagles. On the year, Lau has recorded a season stroke average of 74.53 and has carded three top-5 finishes. She is currently ranked No. 13 by GolfStat.
