KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Haley Cox of Ohio Christian has been named the NAIA Women’s Basketball Player of the Week. Cox was selected based on their performance from January 22-28 and was chosen out of a pool of conference/Continental Athletic Conference (Independents)/unaffiliated group nominees.

Players of the week are announced weekly throughout the regular season on Tuesdays on naia.org, Instagram and Twitter.

NAIA Women's Basketball Player of the Week 

Haley Cox, Ohio Christian - SR - Guard

• Posted a triple-double of 31 points, 12 rebounds and 10 steals vs. Cincinnati-Clermont (Ohio)
• Added a double-double vs. Indiana East with 23 points and 18 rebounds
• Notched a career-high 18 rebounds
• Helped her team to a 2-0 record on the week
