KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The NAIA National Office has announced that Braden Sweet of Indiana Wesleyan has been named the NAIA Men's Cross Country Runner of the Week. Sweet was selected based on his performance(s) from September 4-10 and was chosen out of a pool of conference/Continental Athletic Conference (Independents)/unaffiliated group nominees. 

Runners of the Week are announced weekly throughout the regular season on Wednesdays on naia.org, Instagram and Twitter.

• Finished first in the Twilight Invitational in a field of 196 runners
• Helped Indiana Wesleyan to win the meet with his 24:42 time in the 8K race
