KANSAS CITY, Mo. —Tajean Houston of Texas Wesleyan has been named NAIA Men's Indoor Track Athlete of the Week and Zach Zohner of Concordia (Neb.) has been selected as the NAIA Men's Indoor Field Athlete of the Week. The duo was selected based on their performances from January 22-28 and were selected out of a pool of nominees from across the country.

Players of the week are announced weekly throughout the regular season on Wednesdays on naia.org, Instagram and Twitter.

NAIA Men’s Indoor Track Athlete of the Week

Tajean Houston, Texas Wesleyan - JR

• Competed in the Wichita State Herm Wilson Invitational
• Finished 2nd of 39 athletes in the 60 meter hurdles with a time of 7.84 that set a school record

NAIA Men’s Indoor Field Athlete of the Week  

Zach Zohnerk, Concordia (Neb.) - JR

• Competed in the Concordia Classic
• Finished 1st of 16 athletes in the pole vault with a mark of 5.20
