KANSAS CITY, Mo. —Isaac Joseph of St. Thomas (Fla.) has been named NAIA Men's Indoor Track Athlete of the Week and Jacob Netral of Marian (Ind.) has been selected as the NAIA Men's Indoor Field Athlete of the Week. The duo was selected based on their performances from January 8 - 14 and were selected out of a pool of nominees from across the country.

Players of the week are announced weekly throughout the regular season on Wednesdays on naia.org, Instagram and Twitter.

NAIA Men’s Indoor Track Athlete of the Week

Isaac Joseph, St. Thomas (Fla.) - GR

• Competed at the Jimmy Carnes Invitational
• Finished first of 38 runners in the 200m (21.63)
• Finished fourth of 49 runners in the 600m (6.73)
• Is the first STU track athlete to not only qualify for the NAIA Championship but do so in both indoor and outdoor.

NAIA Men’s Indoor Field Athlete of the Week  

Jacob Netral, Marian (Ind.) - SR

• Competed in the Wabash College Rob Johnson Invite
• Finished first of 24 athletes in the shot put (18.11m)
• Finished fifth of 25 athletes in the weight throw (16.32m)
• Broke the Marian program record in shot put
