NAIA Men's Tennis Round Two Recap

Mobile, Ala. – (Bracket | Schedule) Round two of the NAIA Men’s Tennis National Championship is in the books after play was suspended on Wednesday. The quarterfinal round will take place on Thursday afternoon at 3:00 PM CT.
Game Notes & Highlights
- No. 1 Keiser (Fla.) swept their way to the quarterfinals with a 4-0 win against No. 17 Cardinal Stritch (Wis.). The Seahawks are appearing in their seventh-straight quarterfinals.
- No. 9 Westcliff (Calif.) have advanced to their first-ever NAIA Men’s Tennis Quarterfinal with a 4-0 win over William Carey (Miss.).
- No. 4 Tennessee Wesleyan defeated No. 20 McPherson, 4-0. The Bulldogs have won at least one tournament match in five-straight appearances. Tennessee Wesleyan knocked out McPheron in the 2019 first round.
- No. 5 Southeastern (Fla.) were 4-0 winners over No. 21 Oakland City (Ind.). The Fire will be appearing in their first-ever quarterfinal.
- Northwestern Ohio eliminated Cumberlands (Ky.), 4-0. The No. 6 Racers are in the quarterfinal round for the second-straight year. Northwestern Ohio is now 3-0 vs. Cumberlands in the tournament since 2016.
- For the fifth-time in program history, No. 7 Xavier (La.) advanced to the quarterfinal round with a 4-2 win over Middle Georgia State. This is the second time since 2018 the Gold Rush has eliminated the Knights in the second round.
- No. 2 Georgia Gwinnett moved their all-time tournament record to 33-0 after a 4-0 win against No. 15 St. Thomas (Fla.).
- For the second-straight year, Coastal Georgia defeated William Woods (Mo.). The No. 14 Mariners defeated the No. 3 ranked Owls, 4-3.
