2024 NAIA Baseball Players of the Week - No. 7 (April 9)
KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Adrian Villalobos of Kansas Wesleyan has been named the NAIA Baseball Player of the Week and Josh Landry from Hope International (Calif.) has been named the NAIA Baseball Pitcher of the Week. The duo was selected based on their performances from April 1-7 and were chosen out of a pool of conference/Continental Athletic Conference (Independents)/unafilliated group nominees.
Players of the Week are announced weekly throughout the regular-season on Tuesdays on naia.org, Instagram and Twitter.

NAIA Baseball Player of the Week
Adrian Villalobos, Kansas Wesleyan - JR - Infielder
- Helped KWU extend its winning streak to 18 games after a sweep of Saint Mary (Kan.).
- In 17 at-bats, he tallied 13 hits, 11 runs scored, two doubles, six homeruns, and 15 total RBI.
- Hit .765 for the week, .714 in conference games and a 1.929 conference SLG, with a 1.941 overall SLG.
NAIA Baseball Pitcher of the Week
Josh Landry, Hope International (Calif.) - SO - LHP
- Turned in his best pitching performance of the season as he picked up the win throwing a seven-inning complete game shutout.
- Struck out 13 hitters including the first nine batters he faced, giving the Royals their 15th straight win.
- Landry is tied for first in the GSAC holding opponents to a .206 batting average.
