KANSAS CITY, Mo. -  Willy Borquez of MidAmerica Nazarene (Kan.) has been named the NAIA Baseball Player of the Week and Cobe Reeves of Southeastern (Fla.) has been named the NAIA Baseball Pitcher of the Week. The duo was selected based on their performances from March 11-17 and were chosen out of a pool of conference/Continental Athletic Conference (Independents)/unafilliated group nominees. 

Players of the Week are announced weekly throughout the regular season on Tuesdays on naia.org, Instagram and Twitter.

NAIA Baseball Player of the Week

Willy Borquez, MidAmerica Nazarene (Kan.) - JR - OF

•  Borquez went 13-for-19 last week to hit .684 over six games.
•  Connected for five doubles and four home runs including a walkoff three-run blast.
•  Drove in 11 RBI while posting a .714 OBP and a 1.579 slugging percentage.

NAIA Baseball Pitcher of the Week

Cobe Reeves, Southeastern (Fla.) - JR - LHP

•  Alot of season highs last week for Reeves, including an eight-inning shutout performance against Webber International (Fla.).
•  Allowed just four hits with 11 strikeouts for an average of 12.38 K/9.
•  Moved to 3-0 on the season.
