KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Nick Digennaro of Lourdes (Ohio) has been named the NAIA Baseball Player of the Week and Dominic Puccetti from Lawrence Tech (Mich.) has been named the NAIA Baseball Pitcher of the Week. The duo was selected based on their performances from April 22-28 and were chosen out of a pool of conference/Continental Athletic Conference (Independents)/unafilliated group nominees. 

Players of the Week are announced weekly throughout the regular-season on Tuesdays on naia.org, Instagram and Twitter.

NAIA Baseball Player of the Week

Nick Digennaro, Lourdes (Ohio) - SR - Outfield

• All eight hits on the weekend were for extra bases, including four home runs.
• Had four multi-RBI games and 3 multi-hit games.
• Also drew five walks for a .778 on base percentage.

NAIA Baseball Pitcher of the Week

Dominic Puccetti, Lawrence Tech (Mich.) - GR - Pitcher

• Career-high 16 strikeouts in win over Cornerstone (Mich.).
• Tossed 7.0 innings in a complete game shutout. 
• Allowed one walk and two hits.
