Lynn Parman

As Chief Operating Officer for the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics, Lynn leads the day-to-day operation and is charged with driving continued growth and value, integrating all major functions and sharpening the association’s strategy and execution.

Lynn has over 23 years of broad-based experience in non-profit leadership, private industry and regional economic development. Previous to her role with NAIA, Lynn has served in leadership roles for other non-profit organizations including President & CEO of the American Royal Association where she directed a team to execute 30 national and international championships, a scholarship fund and character-based education programs for youth in the KC region. She worked six years as Vice President of Bioscience Development for the Kansas City Area Development Council where she directed a team in the creation, launch, and successful execution of the KC Animal Health Corridor brand and held vice president roles in economic development and business development at Lawrence Chamber of Commerce and St. Joseph Chamber of Commerce respectively. Lynn’s private sector experience includes serving as Vice President of Business Development in Kansas City for McCownGordon Construction and serving in leadership roles in sales & marketing and corporate communications for Boehringer Ingelheim Vetmedica, Inc.  

Lynn is an active member of the Executive Women’s Leadership Council of the Greater Kansas City Chamber of Commerce, Corporate Advisory Member of the Central Exchange and Coaches vs. Cancer Ambassador for the American Cancer Society. She is a marathon runner and developing golfer and is passionate about helping organizations and individuals reach their full potential.

Parman holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Public Administration from Missouri State University in Springfield, Missouri and is a graduate of the University of Oklahoma’s Economic Development Institute.
