NAIA Extends Partnership with Yes! Athletics
KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) announced that it has renewed its agreement with Yes! Athletics to continue as the ‘Official Women’s Wrestling Shoe Provider of the NAIA.’ The agreement begins April 1st and will run through March of 2025.
Yes! Athletics was founded by Deb North, a Kansas City entrepreneur and single mom of 3 girls. The company began in 2019 when North’s daughter began wrestling and North discovered that there were no wrestling shoe options made specifically for girls. She wanted to ensure that female wrestlers felt confident, comfortable and proud to be women.
“As a graduate of an NAIA school, I am excited to extend Yes! Athletics’ partnership with this amazing organization as Yes! Athletics and the NAIA continue to promote and strengthen the sport of women’s wrestling,” stated North.
Yes! Athletics empowers young female athletes by filling the gap in sporting goods gear for girls in sport. Additionally, it will maintain its naming rights of both the NAIA Women’s Wrestling Top 20 polls and of the NAIA National Women’s Wrestlers of the Week honors.
