NAIA Announces Return of College of the Ozarks

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) announced on Monday that its Council of Presidents (COP) has voted to approve the application of College of the Ozarks (Mo.) back to membership within the NAIA.

College of the Ozarks is one of several members making the decision to return to the NAIA after considering several options in the collegiate athletics space. The association provides multiple financial opportunities to its members to make collegiate athletics an affordable option and a great way for small schools to provide a first-rate collegiate athletics experience to its student-athletes.

The institution, based out of Point Lookout, Mo., is evaluating options on conference affiliation and will make an announcement at a later date.
